Semester system in class I to V in Gujarat from next year

N4E Correspondent
Ahmedabad: Gujarat Education board will start semester system in class I to V from the year 2013. Text books of new system will be available in market from April-2013.
Education department has to implement semester system under Right to education(RTE) act as Maharashtra has done the process of changing syllabus and will annonce shortly. This is being done as a part of reducing burden of students.
Earlier Gujarat board has changed the exam system of class VI to VIII, which got good response. Whole syllabus has been prepared in two parts. Text-books will be available before new education session will start. So the board has started the process of printing earlier this year.

It is very harmful decision for children taken by government. first of you have to survey all parents whom kids are studying in the same & after take any decision. in this way kids are not concentrate any subject. in first three month child will understood the semester & than semester will close in next three months so how can manage the subject matter properly in their mind. so Kindly think about all factor & forward concern department. Warm Regards Dinesh
